Licenciado Domínguez (Manuel González) is a Mexican producer and visual artist whose practice blends painting, sculpture, and installation with a conceptual yet playful approach. His work reflects on absurdity, the obvious, and dysfunction as visual strategies, drawing from everyday objects to create humorous and poetic shifts in meaning. Often oscillating between intuitive gestures and structured experimentation, Domínguez engages with themes like algorithmic aesthetics, randomness, and perceptual dislocation. His recent explorations include sound, speculative narratives, and architectural forms built from organic logic.
